** CONGRATS TO MELISSA FOR HER VERBAL COMMITMENT TO STONY BROOK DIVISION 1
and SARAH FOR MAKING THE TRAVEL TEAM SHE WANTED! **
9/12/2011-I signed my daughter up with MST only a month ago because she was in a bad slump and her current batting instructor didn't seem to be able to get down to the problem of why she was not hitting the line drives that she had always hit. My daughter is a leadoff batter and always* put the ball in play. I decided to try MST after reading testimonials and talking to a parent as a referral. The first session, I was very impressed with the amount of detail Coach Lisa paid to my daughters swing. She got down to the problem and they worked drills on extending through the ball more the entire lesson. My daughter was bringing her bat up to soon through the zone so was only getting the top half of the ball. They worked for a solid hour and did many drills to correct it. I did not expect that one lesson to have my daughter hitting again, but two days after the lesson was my daughters game and she drove a hard line drive shot to left center. They are continuing to work together to build her "muscle memory". I was very impressed with the attention to detail that Coach Lisa gave to my daughters swing. We just signed up for 8 lessons and will continue with Coach. She is a great motivator as well! Thank you! Diane
10-10-2010: Two of the best things I have ever done for my 12 year old daughter's self-esteem were buying her first softball glove and hiring Coach Lisa for hitting lessons. Before finding Coach Lisa, my daughter would be chosen for teams simply for her pitching. I have to admit, she was a liability on offense and, as a result, would either bat at the bottom of the lineup or be sandwiched between two good hitters. She would rarely strikeout but the ball would not often make it out of the infield.
After just seven weeks of lessons, her hitting has improved 100% (if not more). She is hitting with power and confidence. Even her body language at the plate has changed. Now, shots into the outfield have come to be expected. Its a big thrill sitting in the stands with the other parents when she comes up to bat in a big spot and hearing someone say "alright kid, how 'bout another rocket right here" or hearing the opposing coach tell his outfield "backup girls, good hitter up."
We are so happy we found Coach Lisa and we intend to stay with her for the next six years until my daughter is off to college. I firmly believe that with Coach Lisa's help those shots that are now two hoppers to the fence will be finding their way out of the park and into the woods well before she ever steps on a High School field.
Thanks Coach,
Fruqan Mouzon
At nine years old, I met Coach Lisa, my catching, hitting, and in many ways life coach. She was tall and confident, at that time everything I wished I was going into a new world of competitive softball, as a tiny, young catcher. And at first I was intimidated at the fact that I was starting already having leg down on everything. However, after meeting Coach and seeing the confidence and positivity she had in herself, and in me, my intimidation changed. Coach Lisa had always gotten down on my level, been extremely patient, and inspiring* to me in the highest degree. I see Coach as my hero, and I remember always saying to my mom that I wanted to be just* like her when I got to college ball. In every lesson I’ve had with her, I’ve never felt as if I was doing something wrong, or I was stupid. Because Coach Lisa made sure I never felt that way about myself. To this day, I’m sure that without her guidance I would NOT be the player I am. She has to ability to get down to anyone’s level at any age ,easily, no matter who they are. Coach becomes a friend before coach and allows people to trust her with her personality and positivitey she has in them. At meeting Coach with MST, age nine, I was shy and going through that awful awkward stage, not realizing the importance of confidence, and how much I could control that confidence within me. Coach Lisa, showed that aspect of the game, and to life* to me. Today, I am fifteen years old and am no longer going through that awkward stage, but the MOST difficult times in my life. Alike any other fifteen year old, confidence and security is the hardest thing to find within yourself. But Coach Lisa, is still here six years later teaching me that that confidence still there within me and I can use it to the best of my ability in my game. And in anything life throws at me. Today I am still playing competitive softball, with the same heart and skills she has brought out of me through five years of her amazing ability to teach, guide and inspire. Still a catcher and still always* confident in the guidance and advice she has given me. She is truly an amazing coach, teacher, friend, and anything you need her to be. And I've been extremely priveleged to grow under her guidance as a softball player, and in the life itself.

I write this letter with great pleasure on behalf of Coach Risso. MST has been giving my daughter, Samantha, private catching and batting lessons for the past 4 years. Samantha has played on town travel and club teams since she was nine years old. Her skill has changed drastically over the years due to her coaching. Coaches from Samantha's teams, coaches from other teams and umpires have commented on her knowledge of her position and of the game in general. Coach Risso has gradually led Samantha to this level through drills and praise. Coach Risso's lessons are well planned and thought out to improve a player's skills. She is also great at communicating what she expects on and off the field. These are great talents for a coach to have. The greatest joy that I continuously thank Coach Risso for each lesson, is the confidence she has instilled in Samantha. Coach Risso has a great personality that is likeable but demands respect. I live near Paramus NJ and she comes to a field up the block from us with the MST 'stang' all suited up and ready to go. Her knowledge of the game, organizational and communication skills will be an outstanding asset to your daughters understanding and skill of the game. We signed up for our first Dual Pitcher/Catcher Combo to prepare Sam and her friend for highschool and we are meeting next week. Looking forward to it! We love her like family. -Kathryn
I am a 19 year old softball athlete now playing on a D1 University in Florida. I met Lisa when I was 14 years old through a pitchers clinic that she attended. From that day, I have been working with her on my catching skills and she has created me into the athlete I am today. At 14 I had no idea how much was involved with catching and never thought that the position required many skills and techniques which she has taught me. I have worked with her every week for four years prior to leaving for college and she has become like an older sister to me as well as a very positive motivational coach. Coach has drilled and trained me to be a top catcher as well as leader with her endless drills she has practiced with me. The first day I met Lisa, she asked me my goals and we focused on that goal throughout our lessons. It really is a privilege to have had a coach like her who cares so much each lesson and gives each hour her all. I have went to previous coaches before her, who just sat on a bucket throwing balls to me and would watch their clock, and was blown away by our first lesson when I was 14. My mom always said she was impressed the first lesson when Lisa actually put on her own gear and got down in the dirt with me. Now I am playing at a top University and the college I always have wanted to attend. Coach Lisa is just an honor to work with, I sure do wish she would take the MST car to FLORIDA! Come here Coach!!!

I am an 10 year softball player from NJ. I started working with Coach Lisa and MST when my mom signed me up with her a year ago. I am a 3rd baseman and my batting was off before meeting Coach. She came to a field near me the first day I met her and had all these drills that I never knew existed. I thought it was silly when she pitched me little tennis balls and even made me hit a basketball off a tee. She explained why each drill was important and it helped me realize the importance of the drills and formed my swing to hit line drives, not drop my should, and use my legs. The MST car was so awesome because she had a pitching machine, and nets and all of these drills that weren't boring in it and it is such a cool car. I now am the 4th batter for my town recreation team and used to be the 6th. I am now the cleanup. She is a lot of fun and taught me how to be a leader as well. My coach says he is very impressed with my playing, batting, and how I talk and motivate the team. I love working with Coach and my mom loves MST because I walk to the field up the block and Coach will usually just drive me home. Its fun and easy and made me such a better batter and makes me feel confident. I also loves how she will come to a couple games also. Thanks!! Ashley
My daughter is a 14 year old catcher who plays in Northern Bergen County on a 16U travel team as well as her high school team. We signed up with Coach Lisa's Mobile Softball Training about 2 years ago when my daughter was 12. I have 2 other children in sports, my husband works full-time and I am currently part-time. I always wanted to sign my daughter up for batting and catching lessons but never had the time to take her to the indoor facilities near me and did not agree with being charged $90.00 for an hour lesson. I thought it was ridiculous and a rip off. She also was referred to a male catching coach who caught for baseball and I noticed that the squat he was telling her to get into, was very different than what we had been watching on the Softball World Series which we watch together every year. I did not feel secure with having the baseball instructor teach my daughter, as well as driving her to the facility, and paying almost $100.00 for an hour lesson. I was referred to Coach Lisa's MST program through a friend when I was describing the catching lesson we had experienced. I signed up my daughter for one lesson first to see how this all worked. Lisa told me to tell her a field that was close by to us and she would come to us. I loved that already because she was saving me time to take care of the other kids. When she told me the rate was $65.00 for a private hour session I was blown away. After watching Lisa work with my daughter the first 15 minutes, I noticed a dramatic change in my daughters attitude, hustle, and motivation. I left them to work out, my daughter does not like when I watch as many teens do I am sure, and came back to find a sweating girl throwing balls over and over to second base. I was sold, impressed and my daughter is now on the town varsity team as a freshman catching. Lisa has just made such an impact on my daughters skill that SHE should be the one charging $100.00 per hour!!! Her love for the game is so clear and the gift she has with teaching children the game is unbelievable. We plan to stick with her for a years to come!
MST is so awesome!! I am 12 years old and just joined to be taught by Coach Lisa for my catching and batting. I am doing one lesson of each once a week for three months. She has been such a great coach and makes me feel like I can play any team that I want in the future. I never was coached before and I wouldn't trade my new coach in for the world. So far we have gone over blocking drills and throw down with a lot of leg workouts- watch out for the crab walk!!- In our batting lessons, I have learned so much about my swing that I didn't know was important. She loves line drives so dont focus on the homeruns, but focus on the line drives, she told me they will turn into homeruns and my last lesson, I hit the fence.
Thanks a lot coach and I love MST! Cara 14u -nj
